These are proper premium Portuguese sardines from Nuri—an iconic producer with a well-earned cult following around the world. The fish are sourced from Matosinhos fish market in the early morning and then canned the very same day, locking in that fresh, clean flavour and beautiful texture.

Nuri’s cannery is now over a century old, and they still keep every step of their artisanal method in-house for tight, rigorous quality control. There are checks at multiple stages of their famous 37-step process, ensuring every tin meets Nuri’s high standards—consistent, carefully handled, and seriously good eating.
