Our fresh cod loin comes as a generous 1–1.25kg piece — thick-cut, beautifully white, and naturally mild with that classic clean, flaky texture cod is famous for. It’s the kind of fish that keeps everyone happy: not too “fishy”, super versatile, and it cooks up like a dream.
This is a brilliant choice if you want to:

How to cook cod loin (and keep it juicy)
Cod is lean, so the trick is gentle cooking and a bit of protection (butter, oil, sauce, or a topping).
Oven-roast (easy + impressive):
Pop the loin in a baking dish, season well, add a knob of butter, a squeeze of lemon and a splash of white wine. Roast at 200°C for 15–20 minutes depending on thickness, until it flakes easily.
Pan-fry portions:
Cut into thick steaks, season, then pan-fry in a little oil and butter for 3–4 minutes per side. Finish with lemon, capers, or a quick parsley butter.
