Preparation

To make cod in an air fryer, you will need the following ingredients: - 2 cod fillets- 1 cup of breadcrumbs- 1 teaspoon of paprika- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder- 1/2 teaspoon of salt- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper- 2 tablespoons of olive oil- 1 lemon (optional, for serving) Here are the steps to make cod in an air fryer: 1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) for about 5 minutes.2. In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.3. Dip each cod fillet into the olive oil, ensuring both sides are coated.4. Press the cod fillets into the breadcrumb mixture, thoroughly coating them on all sides.5. Place the cod fillets in the preheated air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overlapping.6. Cook the cod in the air fryer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the fillets are golden brown and crispy.7. Carefully remove the cooked cod from the air fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes.8. Serve the cod fillets with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, if desired. You can also serve them with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, or a side of vegetables. Note: Cooking times may vary depending on the size and thickness of the cod fillets. It's recommended to monitor the fish closely during the cooking process to avoid overcooking.
